Did you know that the state of California’s Office of Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) has proposed to lower allowable exposure limits for caprolactam? You may not be aware that:
  • Caprolactam is a common chemical found in carpet, textiles, adhesives, plastics and packaging
  • It is frequently measured and reported as part of the CA 1350 protocol for evaluating product emissions―and many green building requirements are based on CA 1350
  • This change could affect market acceptance for your product, or it may require modification of your purchase or specification documents
For more detailed information, please download our new caprolactam tech brief, or contact us with questions.
